Two mornings in November, I somehow dragged myself out of bed at 4:00am and headed to the Northern Beaches. I have wanted to do this for a long time but always seem to press the snooze button.

North Narrabeen was my first stop, followed by Collaroy the next morning.

I wasn’t expecting much as they were my first sunrise shoots  but I am happy with how they came out. Two of them even made explore on Flickr which I am very pleased with.

One of my final assignments for my photography course was to produce a photo-essay using artificial light outdoors.  I had to choose an “outdoor activity” and demonstrate in 6 photos how the activity is done.  I headed down to the beach one sunny afternoon with my brothers and got some pretty cool shots.

I won’t include the 6 shots here because they aren’t too exciting but here is a few I liked.
